All notable changes to PlanningPoker.
- Discussions: before the first vote, or between two voting rounds, the
owner or an admin can start a discussion of the ticket with Discuss
First or Discuss. Voting opens when they click Start Voting.
- Discussion timebox: rooms can set how long a discussion should take
(5, 10 or 15 minutes, or no limit). When the timebox runs out, a short
chime plays and the timer turns red and counts the overtime. The
discussion goes on until the vote is started.
- Mute the chime: a speaker button next to the timer mutes the chime
for you. It is remembered in your browser.
- Room passwords: room owners can protect a room with an optional
password. Joining a protected room asks for the password once; a reload
does not ask again. Rooms without a password work as before.
- Zen Mode: a per-user toggle that strips the room down to the round
table and the voting cards while you vote. It is remembered in your
browser.
- Welcome tour: a short guided tour of the landing page and the room for
first-time visitors. It only runs once per browser.
- Room menu: connection status, user settings, room settings and the
minimal mode are now in one menu in the room.
- Polished dialogs, the user list and room creation.
- Rooms could stop working in the browser.
- Dialog titles were not shown.
- Role labels of minimized roles in the user list.
- Empty rooms are cleaned up reliably again.
- A password protected room always stays protected. If the room can no
longer be joined, you are sent back to the start page.
- A protected room now asks for the password again when needed, instead of
trying to reconnect endlessly.
